Churches Thrift Shop Reopening June 3rd!

storereopening

The staff will be in the store on June 1st and 2nd preparing safety measures due to COVID-19. There will be many changes for our customers that we wanted you to be aware of. We will only be allowing a certain number of people to be in the store at a time. We will ask that everyone please social distance while inside or outside at the Store. We will also have a staff member outside with hand sanitizer, that we will ask the customers to use before entering the store.

We will also be asking all customers to shop as quickly as possible and not remain in the store any longer than 20 – 30 minutes at the very most so that everyone will get equal opportunity to shop.

There will be hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the store for customer use and arrows on the floors and signs to direct the flow of traffic, so please follow the arrows as you shop.

The outside staff will also be setting aside all drop-offs so that all our donations will be sitting for 48 hours minimum before being processed, for safety purposes.

Drop – Offs:

We are expecting a very high drop-off rate for our first month or so after re-opening, so we would really like to ask for your help. So that the staff aren’t too overwhelmed, and are better able to keep up, could all our customers please adhere to the following drop-off schedule:

  • Last names beginning with the Letters A – F drop off June 3rd – 6th.
  • Last names beginning with the Letters G – N drop off June 8th – 13th.
  • Last names beginning with the Letters O – V drop off June 15th – 20th.
  • Last Names beginning with the Letters W – Z drop off June 22nd – 27th.

(Just a note that our furniture drop-off days are still just Tuesdays & Saturdays though.)

If your allotted dates don’t work for you, the following week or later is totally fine too!

If our customers are willing to help out by dropping off during those dates, it would be a huge help and would really help make things run more smoothly.

We truly value our customers and staff and really want to do our best to keep everyone safe and keep meeting the needs in our community as we do so.
