Unfortunately, due to an excess in drop-offs in the last few months, Churches Thrift Shop needs to limit receiving hours to:
Monday to Friday: 9:30am to 3:30pm
Saturday: 9:30am to 3:00pm
We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but we need to be able to take good care of the precious treasures that are generously donated.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during these busy times!
Please note that we do not accept used medication, including opened bottles of Tylenol or allergy medication. You can take them to any pharmacy to dispose of them. If you do bring them here, we can’t sell them and will have to take them to a pharmacy ourselves. Thank you!
Just a reminder: While we are very grateful for the donations we receive and the generosity of our community, we respectfully request that only clean, working, sellable items be donated. I’m sure we’ve all heard the saying, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” Unfortunately, that saying doesn’t ring true here at Churches Thrift Shop. If it’s trash, we can’t sell it. We have no choice but to dispose of it, which adds to our garbage fees, leaving us with less to give back to the community. For more information about donating, please see our Donations page. We at Churches Thrift Shop just want to say a heartfelt thank you for your patience during this unusual time. We are so happy to see you all and we appreciate your efforts to honour our 20 – 30 minute shopping time limit to ensure others waiting to enter don’t have to stand in line too long. We know the changes implemented to comply with COVID-19 safety protocols have made shopping a very different experience than we’re all used to, but you’ve been wonderful in stepping up to these new challenges and we are so grateful!
